Bio
Angela Atkinson is a freelance writer, editor and researcher. She is passionate about writing and has been since she was a small child. The nineties found her writing for her high school and college newspapers and yearbooks, and later a small regional magazine.
Atkinson currently writes and edits content for several websites and various private clients and does basic website construction and design. Her first non-fiction book, The Practical Freelance Writer’s Guide to Author Websites, will be released in late September 2010.
Atkinson spent several years working in the corporate world before becoming a full-time writer. During that time, she wrote and edited corporate publications, forms, brochures and articles. She also developed and implemented training programs. Today, she teaches writing workshops for writing groups and other interested parties.
She writes an award-winning personal development blog called In Pursuit of Fulfillment, which focuses on living well and personal development.
Along with fellow freelance writer Alyssa Ast, Atkinson founded The WM Network. The WM Network currently includes The WM Freelance Connection, The WM Parenting Connection, The WM Pet Connection and The WM Review Connection.
Atkinson studied journalism at Eastern Illinois University and has been a full-time freelance writer, editor and researcher since 2005. She lives in St. Louis, Missouri with her loving husband and three amazing children.
